Oakland's weekend Meltdown

Issue #009 | Plus Presidio pints, John Waters chaos, and a job at Six Flags

Oaktown Weekly | Issue #09

This Sunday is National Ice Cream day, which is only the 2nd sweetest thing happening this weekend.

The sweetest? How about the granddaddy of elevator tunes to make love to, Barry Manilow, putting on his LAST Oakland show this Friday. Believe it. Savor it. Avoid it.

In other news: this weekend is stacked. The summer festivities keep delivering.

Your East Bay Event Lineup

Each week, we bring you a curated list of events for families, couples, and everyone in-between. Got an event you’d like to promote? Send us a reply.

1. Parks4All Brewfest — Saturday

When: Saturday (7/19) 12-4pm

We don’t always promote events outside of the East Bay, but when we do we garuntee two things: 1.) It’ll be outside and 2.) there will be drinking. This exceeds our criteria. Bring the family (and dog) for unlimited tastings from local taps, food, and live music Get the details →

2. CAAMP at the Greek — Saturday

When: Saturday (7/19) Show @ 7:30pm
