If you’re still recovering from Labor Day… wake up! The weekend is back in sight.
Tonight — Thursday if you’re catching this newsletter when it’s hot — is Prescott Market’s 2nd to last Night Market from 5-9pm.
Once a month, the good folks at Prescott shut down the street and bring together community, vendors, local businesses, Bandaloop performers, and live music. Last time, kids could even sit in a jet cockpit.

5th Annual Bizerkeley Food Festival
This event has one goal: Make vegan food NOT boring. The largest Vegan food festival in California is back this week with events throughout the weekend, culminating in the festival Sunday (9/7). Mexico vs. Japan at The Coliseum
Mexican National Football team takes on Japan for a friendly at The Coliseum Saturday. The match puts #13 Mexico against #17 Japan in preparation for next year’s World Cup co-hosted by US, Canada, and Mexico. And just Yesterday, someone stole Mexico’s gear — c’mon Oakland. Oakland Pride 2025 - Parade and Festival
Now in it’s 15th year, the Oakland Pride parade and festival is back this weekend. Featuring 200+ exhibitors as well as live music performances across two stages. The parade is free to attend.
